This's what we know about the scandal surrounding the contaminated eggs
Update 7 August: food products in which eggs contaminated with fipronil are used are safe to eat. The possible concentrations are too low to cause a health hazard, according to the Dutch Food Industry Federation. Therefore, no food items need to be removed from the shelves.
This is about many food products in which egg is used: mayonnaise, cake, ice cream, bread, croquettes, pasta, pancakes, cereal, and chocolate.
